NOTE! This car is not mine! It's a photo from a catalog..I do not have sheepskin covers Does anyone have these seat belt holders? Are they worth it? Are they ugly? I'm debating, as that is another question.
I was thinking of getting a pair, because my passengers always struggle frantically to find their seatbelt, which is usually hidden and stuck as it falls behind the seat.
They look like black plastic.
They were supposedly "designed for the SLC" and "holds the seatbelt" in place, so it does not slip behind the seat (my passenger side belt does.)
I also saw a neat chrome/aluminum aftermarket version from Germany on on eBay, but it's a bit pricey.

I have a pair... A father's day gift a couple of years ago. They are plastic, but are not flimsy. The fit on the posts of the headrest is TIGHT, and they work very well. I highly recommend them. Performance Products pic, No?
When you no longer are looking, nothing better will come along...

Exactly! I was not sure if it was good to mention the company.
I'm curious if they are OEM Mercedes for the SLC and if the price they are asking for them is for each one, or the pair. I'll them call next week.
If it's only for 1, they "ain't" cheap! Then the German ones would be a better value.

I recently got the black plastic one's for my SLC. Not flimsy at all and with my black interior they don't stand out.
I actually have my headrests pulled up so I can lean my head on them - not pushed down against the top of the seat and they still don't stand out too much. If you were to push the headrest down all the way you'd barely notice them at all.
Not cheap but money well spent - it's just a pain in neck fishing for the seatbelt... And they are tight fit so no rattling or other annoying noises.
Had to pull the operating manual out to locate the hidden button to release the headrest though - figured I was doing something wrong when they just refused to budge!
But hey - no more pulled muscles trying to find the seatbelt.

I have a pair and I think that they are worthwhile. They do not look cheap, and are made of very durable plastic. These are actually MB parts from the SLC, so maybe if you can get a discount the price would be better than from PP.
Thanks all, for the advice. That's neat they are OEM MB.
Maybe I can get them direct from MB USA instead of PP.
Cheers.

I tried the dealer here in Canada and they didn't stock em but I was able to get a pair from the junk yard for $50/pair.Kinda pricey but they save me from yanking my arm out of my shoulder everytime I put on my seatbelt. Frankly I love them. Its the best thing thing I bought for my car. Makes me wonder why Benz was so cheap in not making it a standard item.
As far a looks go I kinda like the look of the holder. The only drawback to these things is you have to navigate the belt when getting something out of the luggage area if you tilt your seat forward. The solution of course is simply unloop the belt from the bracket - a half second job.
Either design is a must have. Constantly having to dig the seat belt from behind the seat is a PITA. I have the plastic hook version. Not an overly elegant design, but functional.

I guess I'm the one person who didn't like them. I have my seats all the way back and they would rub against the seat belt, thereby not allowing the seat belt to snap back freely when I got out. Was annoying, so I took them out.
