Well, at least it LOOKS like I'm ok for gas... but even after my mechanic replaced the sending unit in my tank, the gauge seems to no go below 3/4, and it fills to way over the top.

I was considering buying a used cluster on ebay and then trying to remove the fuel gauge part and replacing mine. is this do-able? Or am I better off in replacing the entire cluster? And what about the mielage?
